Sitamarhi Institute of Technology (SIT) is a government engineering college fully funded by the Government of Bihar and managed by the Department of Science, Technology, and Technical Education, Patna. Located in the Sitamarhi district, SIT is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University, Patna, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Established in 2016, SIT offers a four-year B.Tech program in six engineering disciplines: Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering with Computer Applications, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Admissions to the B.Tech program are conducted through BCECE, Bihar, based on JEE scores. The college consistently maintains excellent academic results.
